Obafemi Awolowo University Announce Indefinite Strike.


The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife have shut down the institution indefinitely over continuous protests by some of its workers.

According Najialoaded, The University Registrar, Dotun Awoyemo confirmed this on phone conversation that the management has decided to shut down the university for the safety of students and staff.

Araa-Edugist as well made effort to confirm this news from students within the school and till was confirm that the strike presently is holding as they pray they call it off in time after staying at home for more than a month due to brake.

According to information gathered, the action was to give time in resolving issues with workers, the Non-academic staff of University (NASU) and senior staff of Nigeria (SSANU).

therefore all newly admitted students are to go back home while old students resumption date to be postponed indefinitely
