JAMB TO FIX GENERAL CUT-OFF MARKS BY JUNE 2

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said to have concluded all processes to commence admission exercise for 2016. The organization is set to hold a policy meeting with stakeholders to fix cut-off points for all courses.

The policy meeting is to give a leading for the commencement of the 2016 admission exercise and is to be presided by the Honorable Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin on Monday 16-5-2016 in Abuja, he said the honorable minister of education will at the meeting underscore the importance and relevance of these decision-makers  on admission into tertiary institution and issues bordering on the general well-being of the system will be discussed and decision to be taken.

He said this year meeting is set for June 2. Nationally accepted cut-off marks will be decided and issue Federal Government guidelines and regulation would be articulated and decision taken.
The meeting is to be attended by Heads of all tertiary institutions, Vice-chancellors, Rectors, Provost, NUC, National Youth Corps and others.
