#celebrateChierikaUkogu# My view about Chierika Ukogu and Nigeria Government

This lady of honor today did stand as a hero before all Nigerians today. When others were shouting and threatening not to participate in their choice of sport as a representative of Nigeria in Rio 2016 because Nigeria government refuses to pay them their allowance.

Chierika Ukogu a 23 year old Nigerian – American Rower refused to limit herself to the poor and selfish leaders we have in Nigerian, set of leaders that keep enjoying seeing  the citizens cry in pain for lack of social infrastructure .They keep buying houses, cars, investments and taking the right to run businesses that would have been under the care of the federal government so as to ease the pain of the citizenry but since they have the wherewithal they ensure crying citizens live in pain due to escalating prices.

Dear Nigerian youths, courageous Chierika Ukogu was not looking at the present situation of her father land but she was looking at her glory to come which prompted her to stop schooling to raise some money so she could sponsor herself to Rio 2016. Today, I will say Chierika Ukogu is my Olympic Hero claiming silver medal in the female rowing adorning the colors of a country that did not remember her when she started a gofundme campaign in 2015 and successfully raised over $14,000 a bit short of her expected $15,000 to get herself equipped and prepared for  Rio 2016,in Brazil.

This is my view; all Nigerian youth should be happy and proud of being a Nigerian because we have all it takes to be the echelon of excellence in any field of endeavor. Let us leave the cycle of people that complain and encourage and join hands with the level of people that compete for Gold on the world stage.
These shameful leaders keep deceiving many of us to the extent that t they deploy the youth of this generation to render the posterity bleak and distraught.

They keep telling you that you are the leaders of tomorrow putting you to the downstream, giving you a false hope and degrading you to a level of servitude why their children are leading big companies, flexing in politics, controlling states in the country. “Open your eyes Nigerian youths you are the leaders of now and builders of tomorrow”.  Your strength, talent, education, unity and corporation are all your weapons to fulfill your destiny as the future builders.
In unity we stand as Nigerian youths the faster we move in building a better future. Join Adefowoju Ayodele a motivational speaker, Educational consultant, writer and CEO Araa Group by making your likes count.
